{I’m Commander A. P. Amila Prasanga, active service in the Sri Lanka Navy since the year 2001. I have demonstrated an effective and proven history of experiences as a Maritime Security Operator, Intelligence Analyst, Researcher, Educator, and Mentor, and currently hold the appointment of Military Research Officer at the Institute of National Security Studies - Think Tank under the Ministry of Defence in Sri Lanka. I’m also a proven strategic problem solver, communicator, and change manager. I have broad experiences in Counter Terrorism Operations, Naval Operations Planning at Operational and Tactical Levels of Warfare, Counter Intelligence Operations, and Scientific communications in support of national and regional security capability assessments that have been published in national and international journals and presented in national and international research conferences. I’m also a leader in the area of Strategy, Innovation, and Crisis Leadership. I’m passionate about building partnerships, maximizing data-driven decisions, and maximizing lesson identification.
