Brigadier MLA De Silva RSP USP psc, is presently serving as the Director (Defence Coordination) at the Presidential Secretariat, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and was a Directing Staff at the Defence Services Command and Staff College, Batalanda from 2017 to 2019. Further, the author has obtained a Degree of Master of Science in Art and Science of Warfare from the University of Balochistan, Quetta, Pakistan and conferred the Degree of Master of Arts in Security Studies (Civil-Military Relations), from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, in year 2012.
