{I am a native of Moratuwa. Born to a Fitter and house wife. Studied at St. Peter’s College, Colombo 4. I did G.C.E(OL) in 1997 and G.C.E(A/L) in 2000. I enlisted to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence Academy on 5th August 2001 and graduated with BSc in Civil Engineering and Defence Studies in October 2005. I got posted to Civil Engineering branch in the Sri Lanka Navy in 2005. I served as Civil Engineering Officer in Western, Northern, Southern and Eastern Naval Commands respectively, Then as Project Engineer (Sri Lanka Navy – Construction Unit) at Construction Management Unit of Defence Headquarters Complex Project, as Senior Project engineer at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University Southern Campus project. I hold office as Command Civil Engineering Officer at Northern and Southern Naval Commands. I hold associate Membership of Sri Lanka Engineering Council and Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka. I served as Design Trainee at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau. Presently I hold office as Deputy Director (Sri Lanka Navy – Construction Unit) at Construction Management Unit of Defence Headquarters Complex Project. I am married to a Teacher.}
