I, Air Commodore Manoaj Keppetipola is a humble product of Dharmaraja
College Kandy. I read for my Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (Defence Studies)
whilst securing a second class upper pass becoming the best overall student
in Non-technology stream in 1994. He
started his career in Sri Lanka Air Force as an Administrative officer.
I have followed the National Diploma in Human Resource
Management in the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka in 2004/05. I hold a MBA from the PIM – University of Jayewardenepura. I joined the
elite category of officers who had been “commended by the Commander of the
Air Force†in the year 2010. I hold a psc – passed staff
college from the Defence Services Command and Staff College Sri Lanka. I also
hold the Masters degree, Masters in Defence Studies from the University
of Kelaniya. I held the office of the Director Academic Studies, Air
Force Academy China bay and a long spell of 4 years as a Directing Staff
(Senior Lecturer) at the Defence Services Command and Staff College during
2014 to 2018. I was the Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Weerawila
from 2019 to 2020. I got graduated from the prestigious National Defence
University of Pakistan and holds the title of ndc and the third Masters
Degree, MSc in National Security and War Studies.
I am a visiting lecturer of the Chartered Institute of Personnel
Management and a corporate trainer too. I am a Chartered Fellow member
of IPM and a Member of the governing Council of the IPM since 2011. I am a Fellow member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development.
I won the prestigious National HR Excellence Award in Training &
Development in the year 2012. Presently I am the Senior Directing Staff –
Air (Senior Lecturer) of National Defence College of Sri Lanka.
I am currently reading for his PhD from the Postgraduate Institute
of Management (PIM) – University of Jayewardenepura.
I am married to Dr (Mrs) Anusha Kumarapperuma and blessed with two
sons and a daughter.
